Chatteris Library Rhymetime to celebrate 10 years
Release date:
16/07/2012
Cambridgeshire Libraries is inviting residents to come along to Chatteris Library on Monday 23 July to help celebrate 10 years of Rhymetime.
Over the past 10 years, more than 900 families have been involved in Rhymetime at Chatteris. To celebrate the library would like to invite as many of these previous participants as possible to come along and see an exhibition of photos that will be on display until Saturday 28 July.
Cambridgeshire County Council Cabinet Member for Libraries, Councillor David Harty said "The staff at Chatteris Library hope to see many familiar faces and perhaps see how some of the Rhymetime graduates have grown. Rhymetime sessions continue to be very popular across the county and we encourage families to take part in their local library. More information can be seen on our website."
All Rhymetime families and members of staff are invited. The Rhymetime team will be there all day on Monday (23 July) to take photographs, record Rhymetime memories and compile a list of favourite rhymes.
They can also register children for Storylab, this year’s Summer Reading Challenge and renew library memberships.
