Where’s Olly?

Release date: 01/08/2012

Author: Pasfield Eleanor

Local children are being called upon to help Cambridgeshire County Council’s Cromwell Museum find Oliver Cromwell.

The museum in Huntingdon has organised a free activity for young visitors during the summer holidays – there are 10 Oliver Cromwell figures hiding in shop windows in the town centre and the search is on to discover where they are.

Cllr David Harty, Cambridgeshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Learning said "We want to make finding out about Cromwell interesting for young and old. So, as well as the exhibition that’s currently running – ‘Perfumes for the Protector’, our younger visitors will find that we have costumes to try on, activity sheets, and a special children's guide - and it's all free."
