Community Meals Service
If someone is too frail to prepare meals for themselves they can arrange to have meals delivered.
Having meals delivered also gives relatives or carers a break.
You can organise this yourself direct with one of the Meals services on our list without needing to contact social care services.
The County Council will organise meals if they are included in the Care Plan which results from an Assessment visit. See our section on Accessing Social Care for adults or call 0845 045 5202 to ask for an assessment.
Meals can also be taken at a Day Centre if attendance is part of someone's Care Plan.
