Fowlmere Nature Reserve

An 86-acre nature reserve designated as a site of Special Scientific Interest. There is a waymarked trail through the reserve, which contains reed swamp, meres, hawthorn scrub and alder wood. Leaflets available at the site.  Hides provide an opportunity to view the bird life, which includes reed warblers, grasshopper warblers and water fowl. Wheelchair access boardwalks and one hide.

Location: 8 miles south-west of Cambridge off the A10, south of Fowlmere village.

Parking: In car park, signposted. An entrance donation is suggested.
