The Service provides support, training and guidance to schools on implementing the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 (RRAA), including:

• Writing and monitoring Race Equality Policies
• Monitoring and assessing the impact of all   school policies on different racial groups within the school
• Ethnic monitoring of all school provision and practice
• Procedures for recording and reporting racist incidents

A school’s race equality pack is in all schools and can be downloaded from the right hand side link. It includes Equally Safe, guidance and procedures for reporting and recording racist incidents in educational establishments.
