The unit is responsible for producing the Council procurement strategy, placement and manage of major corporate contracts, IT infrastructure and telephony contracts, ensuring supply and efficient use of energy, working with ESPO to deliver value for money in contracts and supplies, and ensuring that staff have the skills and support they need to purchase efficiently.
