About us

Procurement & Contract Management - we are a small, centrally-based unit providing advice and guidance to purchasers in departments across the Council.

Our aim is to provide effective advice, support and challenge to develop sustainable and efficient solutions across the organisation and its partners to enable the delivery of flexible, value for money services for the benefit of the people of Cambridgeshire.

The unit is responsible for producing the Council procurement strategy, placement and manage of major corporate contracts, working with ESPO to deliver value for money in contracts and supplies, and ensuring that staff have the skills and support they need to purchase efficiently.
