The Trading Standards Service's education and information team works to make sure that business education services are provided to all sectors of Cambridgeshire's business community, by working in partnership with the traders and business organisations across the county. 

Subjects addressed by the team are wide-ranging and include business advice, information on consumers and traders rights and responsibilities, legislation guidance and how Cambridgeshire’s Trading Standards Service works to ensure a safe, fair and sustainable trading environment for all who live and work in the County.

We organise local training events, site visits, workshops, talks and exhibitions and publish locally relevant materials tailored to the needs of individual clients or client groups. A variety of posters and public information leaflets are also available.

Within Cambridgeshire County Council, the education team will normally deliver seminars and materials, free of charge. Outside this area, or where commercial interests are involved, some services may involve a small charge.
