Cambridgeshire Children's Centres
The first years of your child’s life are very special to your family, with new challenges and exciting changes for you all. Our friendly, experienced Children’s Centres staff offer a wide range of services and support to help you make the most of this time.
Some of the things Children’s Centres offer for families include:
- access to health services such as midwives and health visitors
- family support services – trained staff who can support you if you need help or want some advice
- advice about early years education and childcare
- employment, training and benefits advice
- drop-in play sessions
- parenting courses
- a meeting place for childminders
- dads' groups
There is a £2.00 charge for some of our activities. This money will be reinvested into Cambridgeshire Children’s Centres and will help us to continue to provide fun and engaging activities and provide materials and equipment for the sessions. Your family may be entitled to come along free of charge. Please see our fact sheet for more information.
