CamPlay clubs

CamPlay Holiday and Saturday Clubs are for children and young people aged 6 – 19 with a moderate or severe physical or learning disability.

Key Information

Holiday clubs run for five days over the summer holidays and for 2/3 days over Christmas, Easter and October Half Terms, across Cambridgeshire. A wide range of activities are provided including cooking, arts and crafts, sporting activities, face painting, day trips, messy play, visits from entertainers and day trips to local venues.

Saturday Clubs are run in the Fenland area throughout the year, They provide fun activities for your child to play and socialise. Further details on the clubs can be found on the CamPlay Saturday Clubs page. 

What you can do

To register your child for one of the clubs:

  • if you have a social worker, contact them and request the CamPlay service.
  • if you do not have a social worker, call the Contact Centre on 0345 045 5203 and they will advise you on how you can access the service.

Clubs are operated on a first come, first served basis. If you do not get a place initially, then your child/young person will be added to the waiting list.

Clubs are free but you may be asked to cover any admission costs for trips.

CamPlay is registered with Ofsted and is inspected every 3 years to ensure that the standard of childcare being provided remains of a high quality. All staff have an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check and complete a thorough induction process and regular ongoing training.

Action for Children will be running clubs in Cambridge and South Cambs.
