To exercise the Council's powers and duties in relation to:

• Development Control
• The Planning (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 1992
• Applications under the Commons Registration Act 1965 and the Commons Act 2006
• Rights of Way

Subject to approval of the policy framework by the Council, to undertake the Council’s duties in relation to Minerals and Waste Local Development Documents, except where these functions have been delegated by Council to the Joint Development Control Committees for the Cambridge Fringes and Northstowe (see Section 4, Responsibility for Council Functions – Joint Committees).
