Cambridgeshire Registration Service are offering an innovative service which helps local residents to notify central or local government when they have had a baby or a family bereavement.
Tell Us Once is delivered straight after a birth or death appointment and can notify key government departments of the change in your circumstances.
This is an optional service but it will reduce the time and expense incurred, as well as the number of departments you need to contact.
We will enter the information onto the website and give you a unique reference number and a freephone number for the Department of Work and Pensions.
For death registrations, you can access the Tell Us Once programme from home if you prefer. The relevant departments will contact you directly if they need further information.
