Naming ceremonies

A naming ceremony is a special way of celebrating the birth and naming of a child, or to welcome an adopted child into the family. Our ceremony is non-religious and can be shared with family and friends in any of our Poets' Rooms, in one of our  approved venues or at a venue of your choice such as your home or garden.  Parents can arrange a ceremony with us, irrespective of marital status, religious or cultural background and the celebration can involve one or more children.

Renewal of marriage or civil partnership vows

These ceremonies give couples who have already contracted a marriage or civil partnership, the chance to celebrate and renew their vows in a special and personal way.  They are often used if couples have married abroad, if they are celebrating a special anniversary, if after a difficult period in the relationship they wish to renew their vows, or occasionally just because they want to.  We offer a non-religious ceremony conducted by a celebrant from Cambridgeshire Registration Service, who will help make your day very special for you both.
