Cambridgeshire Registration Service holds records of births, marriages and deaths from 1837 to the present date. Prior to this, records may be found in the archives or at a local church. If you need a copy of a birth, marriage or death certificate for identification or family history purposes please use our on-line database and apply on-line if you find the record you are looking for.

Postage costs
All applications that supply an SAE or are collected will not incur a postage fee.
All applications that do not supply an SAE and require posting will incur the following fees:
UK postage and handling £1.25 per order
UK signed for postage and handling £2.25 per order
Non UK postage and handling £3.00 per order
Non UK signed for postage and handling £8.50 per order
Express service
All Cambridgeshire Registration Offices offer an "express" service with certificates available in one working hour from finding the entry in the records. If the certificate is required urgently then an application can be made in person for copies of any events registered in Cambridgeshire, from 1837 to date. The total fee of £25 per certificate includes the cost of a full certificate and the enhanced service (collection available in just one working hour).
