Short Birth Certificate
Person's names and surname, sex, date of birth and the name of the registration district and sub-district where the birth took place.

Standard Birth Certificate 
All the above plus
· exact place of birth
· father's name, place of birth and occupation (if given at time of registration)
· mother's name, place of birth, maiden surname (and after 1984 occupation)
Please note: registrations made before 1969 do not include details of the parents' place of birth and mother's occupation.
 
Marriage Certificate
· date and place of marriage
· name, age, marital status, occupation and usual address of the bride and groom
· name and occupation of each person's father (if given at the time of registration)
· signatures of the witnesses 
 
Death Certificate 
· name of deceased, date and place of death
· date and place of birth
(please note: registrations before 1969 only show the age of the deceased)
· occupation and usual address of deceased
· cause of death
. name and address of person who registered the death, and their relationship (if any) to the deceased
