Postal Applications
All postal applications need to be accompanied by a sterling cheque (on a UK clearing bank), sterling UK postal order or a sterling international money order. Please make these payable to “Superintendent Registrar” and write your name and postal address on the back of any cheque. Please supply a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
We aim to despatch within 2 working days of receipt (Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are not counted as working days).

What happens when I place an on-line order?
Once authorised for payment these orders are sent by e-mail directly to the Cambridgeshire Registration Office holding the original record. We aim to despatch within 2 working days of receipt (Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are not counted as working days).

Why can’t I find the entry I’m looking for?
There are several steps we would ask you to take if you are unable to locate the entry on CAMDEX:

· CAMDEX is still a work in progress, so have you followed the link from the search page to see what records are currently available?
· Please use the soundex / wild card facilities to check for variant spellings e.g. Wolf, Wolffe, Wollf, Woolfe
· Expand your search to include 5 years either side of the year you originally searched
