After registration you will be issued with two forms free of charge:
-one for you to take to the Funeral Director. If the Coroner has been involved then this may be issued by their office and not the Registration Service.
-one for Social Security purposes. This should be read and completed before returning to the local department of Social Security Office as soon as possible.
You may then need to purchase some death certificates. Each certificate is a certified copy of the entry in the Death Register. All Certificates purchased are Crown Copyright and cannot be photocopied
