Venues in Cambridgeshire
Extras

From here you can find details of all our venues or find out how you can apply to become one.

Under current law, it is possible to have a civil  ceremony at any Approved Premises in England or Wales. These are buildings which are licensed by the local Council for this purpose. Set in the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside or in our historic towns and cities, these range from Hotels to National Trust Properties and University Colleges to Golf Clubs.

The links on the right take you to information and  application forms on how to apply to become an Approved Premise or to add rooms to an existing approval. Current fee for a 3 year approval is  £1400. Extra rooms can then be added part way through the 3 years for £250 each.

Most venues have more than one room licensed so the limit number is the maximum each venue can cater for in the ceremony. You will need to discuss with both the local Registration Office and the venue available dates and times. You do not have to live in that district to be able to have a ceremony there.

The links on the left show Venues by each one of our 4 Offices.
