Consumer Direct – is a telephone and online consumer advice service, supported by the Office of Fair Trading. They provide clear, practical, impartial advice to help you sort out problems and disagreements you may be having with suppliers of goods or services.

From overcharging to faulty goods, from dodgy workmanship to reporting dishonest traders and scams, their advisers are ready to offer solutions for your problems.

The Consumer Direct information and advice helpline is available from 0800-1830 Monday to Friday , and 0900-1300 Saturday, excluding bank holidays and public holidays.

Cambridgeshire Trading Standards – our telephone lines are open from 0800 – 20.00 Monday to Saturday. We also hold regular one to one advice sessions at a number of Citizens Advice Bureaux across the County.
