Trading Standards welcomes information from members of the public and businesses that can help us stamp out criminal trading activities in the County. Although we don't cover all trading issues, if it is more suited to another agency, we can forward the information on with your agreement.
To the left there are pages that provide guidance on how to report the most common issues or those that cause some of the most harm, but for all other types of issues simply contact The Citizens Advice Consumer Service who will record the information and pass it through to us. You are able to remain anonymous if you would like to.
All information received will be treated in the strictest confidence. Information received is treated as Intelligence, and amongst other things, helps to determine what projects we carry out and what educational activities we deliver.
We are not able to respond to everybody that reports an issue to us, but all information we receive is recorded on our systems for analysis and in the cases where we need further information from you, we will contact you.
