How to find out what personal information we hold about you?

You can find out what information we hold about you by making a ‘Subject Access Request’ in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

If we do hold information about you we will, subject to certain exemptions contained in the Act and other relevant legislation:

  • give you a description of the information we hold about you, both in paper and electronic format.
  • tell you why we are holding the information and what we are doing with it.
  • tell you who it could be disclosed to
  • let you have a copy of the information
  • correct factual errors or mistakes you may find.
  • not use your information for marketing purposes, unless you have agreed to this.

To help us give you the information you want, we need you to tell us which part of the organisation you have been dealing with and why you think we hold the information.

This is not an exhaustive list of Data Protection rights so if you would like to know more, please visit the Information Commissioner's Office website.
