ELECTIONS
Elections for the County Council are held once every four years.  Details and results of the 2005 Elections can be accessed from the link on the left hand side.

CAMBRIDGESHIRE'S PERIODIC ELECTORAL REVIEW
The Electoral Commission published the County of Cambridgeshire (Electoral Changes) Order 2005 on 10 February 2005, which increased the size of the Council from 59 to 69 councillors.

The County is now split into 60 electoral divisions, with 51 single member and 9 multi-member divisions.


GUIDANCE ON CONDUCT FOR CANDIDATES AND EXISTING MEMBERS FOR ELECTIONS
Guidance is available to candidates and others involved on conduct in the run up to an election.

VERIFICATION NUMBER
The Verification Number is the number of electors required to trigger a referendum on whether the Council should have a directly elected mayor.
