Your views and experience of public services in Cambridgeshire, particularly County Council and health services, can help overview and scrutiny to look at the issues that matter to people in Cambridgeshire. Contributions are welcome from anyone, including voluntary organisations, user groups, Parish Councils and individual members of the public.
For more information or to get involved, click on the links on the right hand side of the page, or contact the scrutiny team.
You or your organisation can:
-
Suggest a Topic for an overview and scrutiny committee (OSC) to look at.
- Ask an OSC to look at a decision the County Council has made.
- Come to an OSC meeting. These are all open to the public.
- Contribute your views and experience on a topic an OSC is looking at. You could do this in several ways: by talking directly to the committee; by emailing or writing to us; joining a working group; or inviting councillors to meet with your organisation.
- Members of the public have an opportunity to speak at meetings of the Overview and Scrutiny Committees. Further details on how to do this are outlined in the document below.
We may be able to provide volunteer opportunities for individuals who wish to develop their understanding of how local goverment operates by working with the scrutiny team on specific projects. To find out more, contact the scrutiny team. .
