Structure of the Office of Children & Young People's Services

Leading the Office of Children and Young People is Deputy Chief Executive Gordon Jeyes

The Office of Children & Young People's Services was established on 1 April 2005, as part of the County Council's restructuring.


It includes services previously covered by the education and social services directorates and the Youth Offending, Connexions and Sure Start Services.  Its wide range of functions and responsibilities is now fulfilled by six Directorates within OCYPS:

  • Inclusion
  • Planning and Development
  • Learning
  • South Cambridgeshire and Cambridge Area
  • Huntingdonshire Area
  • East Cambridgeshire and Fenland Area
