Shire Hall is the site of the County Council chamber, member offices and registry office. It is located 300m from the north-western perimeter of Cambridge city centre. The access point onto the site by foot and bike can be found from Castle Street.

• Cambridge city centre Market Square is 800m (0.5 miles) 
• Central bus station at Drummer Street is around 1km (0.7 miles)
• Train station on Station Road is 2.8km (1.7 miles)  
• Park and Ride sites (approx 10-15 mins by bus)

Limited car parking is available on site however it may be quicker and easier to make use of the other more sustainable travel options. Both Park and Ride and other bus services stop close by and it can take only 10 minutes to walk from the city centre or Central bus station at Drummer Street.
