Cambridgeshire Together is a partnership involving the county’s most influential organisations who aim to improve the quality of life for all whom live, learn, work and travel in Cambridgeshire.
The partnership is ambitious, providing leadership and aspiration to partnership work throughout the county. It is working to develop high quality and cost effective services that meet the needs of all Cambridgeshire’s communities.
The Cambridgeshire Together Board includes Leaders of the County Council and District Councils, representatives for the Police Authority, Fire and Rescue, NHS Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Voluntary Sector Infrastructure Consortium (CVSIC) and Cambridgeshire ACRE (Action with Communities in Rural England), and business representatives. The Board meets every two months.
Cambridgeshire Together has assembled its ambitions and priorities in the Vision, the Sustainable Community Strategy. The Vision tells the ‘story of place’ of how the partnership will meet the challenges of a changing county, from 2007 – 2021.
