Integrated Working
Improving outcomes for children and young people, so that every child achieves their potential, involves changes to culture and practice across the children's workforce.
These new ways of working shift the focus from dealing with the consequences of difficulties in children's lives to early intervention and effective prevention. This means integrated frontline delivery, processes, strategy and governance.
Integrated working focuses on enabling and encouraging professionals to work together and to adopt common processes to deliver frontline services, coordinated and built around the needs of children and young people.
Cambridgeshire is committed to integrated working and has developed a set of tools and processes to use to support integrated working. More information about individual elements of integrated working can be found by clicking on the left hand side.
Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) The LSCB is an essential part of the partnership structure, providing a scrutiny role in relation to the safeguarding of children and young people. It sits alongside the CYPSP board at county level.
