Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

How can Children and Young People participate in the development of services aimed at them?

Answer:

One way of achieving this is by setting up a Youth Assembly that will bring together young people from each of the three areas: East Cambridgeshire and Fenland; Huntingdonshire; South Cambridgeshire and Cambridge City.

We hope that young people will use the the youth assembly to let us know what services are needed in their area, to discuss the issues that they care about and let us know when services are running well.

The Youth Assembly will also allow a continuing dialogue between young people and the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership, such dialogue will help maintain and improve the standard of children and youth services in Cambridgeshire and ensure that the needs of young people are being addressed.
