The Cambridgeshire Drug and Alcohol Action Team is a multi-agency partnership working to implement the National Drug Strategy. There are 149 DATs in the country and they are the strategic bodies through which the local drug strategy is decided and actioned.
The Cambridgeshire DAT comprises senior staff from the main organisations in the county involved in tackling drug related issues:
- County Council (including Education and Social Services)
- NHS Primary Care Trusts
- Police
- Probation
- District Councils
- HM Prison Service
- Representatives of local services
