FSP has a key role in ensuring 'joined up' thinking and action between all partners, putting issues that affect the future of Fenland at the heart of the plans and strategies of each partner organisation. The partnership has now developed the Fenland Sustainable Community Strategy 2009 - 2012.
The Strategy is the key plan for improving quality of life in Fenland by including aims and aspirations and how these will be achieved in order to improve social, economic and evironmental wellbeing in the area.
The key themes in the Strategy are:
- Health and social wellbeing
- Safer and stronger communities
- Economic and sustainable communities
- Building a sustainable environment
- Children and young people
