Cambridgeshire County Council Crest

The Best Value Performance Plan is a statutory document which includes information on how well we have performed in the past year.

CONTENTS - please access the plan via the publications link on the right

Background
In previous years the Best Value Performance Plan (BVPP) was a key document for every Council, but now it simply reports the Council's performance against a set of performance indicators. BVPPs will no longer be produced from next year.

The Integrated Plan
This year the Council has introduced a new way of planning how it uses its resources to achieve the priorities that it has set for Cambridgeshire. These priorities are agreed following extensive consultation with communities in Cambridgeshire. Budgets are now much more closely linked with aspirations for performance, so that resources are directed to those areas where improved performance is needed to deliver our priorities.

The result of this process is the Council’s Integrated Plan. The Plan outlines both the Council’s Strategic Objectives for the next 10-15 years, but also a more detailed plan for delivering short and medium term priorities over the next three years, as well a detailed performance aspirations and budget plans. This document can be found on the links section on the right of the page.
