Cambridgeshire CC are part of a county wide public sector forum that shares information and learning at operational property/asset management officer level, build trust, provide support and develop the strategic “tools” to support strategic asset management. The case study "Co-operation and Partnership" explains how the forum is arranged, the outcomes and the lessons learnt from establishing such a forum in Cambridgeshire.
This work often requires external professional estates services that are commissioned through a framework contract. This framework is a joint procurement with Leicestershire County Council and ESPO, and commenced on 1st January 2011 for a 4 year period and and is available to all local authorities and public bodies.
