The Commissioning (Property) Section commissions Consultants from both internal and external sources to deliver all property related design and maintenance services.
In partnership with Service Directorates the Commissioning Property Section:-
- Commissions capital schemes and planned maintenance programmes
- Manages competitive tendering and best value processes
- Exercises corporate programme management
- Develops and applies performance measures for all Property and Asset Management Delivery Teams
The section's goals:-
- To contribute to the delivery of the County's Capital and Maintenance Programmes
- To competively commission and monitor Consultants and Contractors
- To enhance Service Client co-operation through effective Project Management
- To secure Value for Money through flexible resourcing
- To action and respond to the Council's modernisation agenda
