Following the merger between ntl: and Telewest and the subsequent takeover by Virgin TV, there are a number of access paths for Virgin TV.
Virgin are aiming to have all customers on their own interface (called UK2) by the summer of 2007.
- Service branded Virgin TV but using the Telewest interactive interface
- Service branded Virgin TV but using the ntl: interactive interface
- Service in ntl: areas only, simulating the Telewest service but branded Virgin (referred to as UK1 within Virgin TV) and with a new separate interactive interface
- Virgin TV with a new separate interactive interface (referred to as UK2 within Virgin TV)
