The Education Child Protection Service contributes to protecting and safeguarding children and young people by training and supporting staff in schools and educational settings.  The Service provides training, support and advice to schools, educational settings and Local Authority Services in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.  Through its work with schools, the Service raises awareness of safeguarding issues and enables staff to keep up to date with current legislation and guidance.  The service strives to promote consistent best practice and responses to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
