‘Learning Services for Learning Communities’

Library Learning Centres offer a complete package of information, advice and courses for anyone wishing to undertake learning at a pace that suits them, delivered in a friendly and informal environment

Our free information and advice sessions will help you decide on the right courses, the right provider and how to progress to further learning

Our wide range of courses can be studied in the learning centre, at home or even in the workplace. The courses available range from introductory 'tasters' through to full qualifications. We can offer courses designed to get you started with computers, email and the internet through to popular qualifications such as the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) and Computer Literacy and Information Technology (CLAIT)

All Library Learning Centres specialise in offering a complete Skills for Life package. We can help you check your skills levels, support you as you work through any learning that will help you brush up on reading, writing or number skills and help you pass a National Certificate - all for free!
