Flexible learning opportunities

Library Learning Centres deliver the full range of learndirect courses

These include: 

- Skills for Life courses (which can lead to the National Tests in Literacy and Numeracy, available online at our Centres)

- The 'surf.direct' course will is designed to get you started with using the mouse, the computer, email and the internet

- Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced courses in the most commonly used PC applications from Microsoft, including Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint (these courses can be used to support ECDL and CLAIT which are available at our Centres)

- Courses in Multimedia subjects such as Photoshop and digital cameras

- Specialist IT courses covering networks, web development, programming and software development

learndirect also offer courses in a range of other subjects such as business, management, languages and specialist IT.

learndirect courses allow you to learn at a time, place and speed that suits you, using computers and the internet. Once enrolled with us you can learn at one of our Learning Centres or at home or work
