Community Access Points

Community Access Points (CAPs) have broadband connection to the Internet via the Cambridgeshire Community Network. CAPs are located across East and South Cambridgeshire, Fenland and Huntingdonshire. Please see links for further information on location and access.

Library Learning Services can provide basic IT Tasters for beginners or short courses to improve existing skills.

We also recruit and support volunteers to provide basic IT training at these outreach locations. We can provide full IT training and support to those willing to help in their local area.  If you wish to volunteer or benefit from a short taster course at your nearest outreach location, please contact Nyree Scott, Project Manager.

Community Access Points have been set up in partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridgeshire Community Network, East and South Cambridgeshire, Fenland, and Huntingdonshire District Councils. The access points allow local people in rural areas of Cambridgeshire to access technology and digital services
