Online schools admissions in Cambridgeshire

Many Cambridgeshire parents chose to apply for places in Reception, Year 3 (infant to junior transfer only) or Year 7 on the county council’s online system.

The online facility for entry in 2008 has now closed as all deadlines have passed.

For Year 7 54% of parents applied online; Reception 43% of parents and infant to junior 48% applied online. In addition, for those transferring from Gamlingay First School to Gamlingay Village College 58% of parents chose to apply online.

The County Council are delighted that the online system has proved so popular with parents. The admissions homepage www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/admissions has links to OfSTED reports, performance tables, school details, including websites and a number of frequently asked questions.
