Dealing with school offers
1. What to do if you have been offered your preferred school
If you have been successful in obtaining your preferred school please contact the school to accept your child's place.
2. What to do if you no longer require the place offered.
If you no longer require the school place offered for your child, please complete and return the slip at the bottom of your offer letter indicating where your child will be receiving education.
3. What to do if you did not get the school you wanted.
If you are unsuccessful in obtaining a place at any of your preferred schools you have a right to an appeal against this decision. Further information about the appeals process is available on our appeals page.
Your child's name will also be automatically added to the reserve list for the school for the term in which you apply and the following term.
Places must be taken up within six teaching weeks of the offer.
