  • Phone Cambridgeshire’s Childcare Information Service on 0845 04 54 014 and they will send you an information pack on local childcare career options, and a current list of childcare vacancies
  • Once you have an information pack there are details of the next steps including contacts details for further information and guidance
  • Look out for our monthly job listing, which features local childcare vacancies within Cambridgeshire. (The listing is in most community venues, libraries and Job Centres. You can order your own copy from Opportunity Links).

If you have done all this and you are still not sure what area of childcare to work in, please contact the Early Years and Childcare Recruitment and Guidance Service who will be able to advise you. They will be able of offer: 

  • Information of opportunities for working in childcare 
  • Advice on training opportunities 
  • Guidance to new and existing children workers on career development
