The County’s learning services aspire to the highest quality learning and teaching in each of the main phases of learning:

• under 5s and their families
• children 5-13
• young people 14-19

In order to achieve our aspirations, we aim to maintain our services with a number of key characteristics, e.g.:

• effective information, advice and guidance for all learners, with specialist services and advocacy for those confronting particular challenges
• a range of reliable support services to assist those with front line responsibility for service delivery
• access to a range of professional development opportunities to support staff in achieving their potential
