Where are you going?

Cambridgeshire Outdoors is a collaboration of Local Authority Centres and Services in Cambridgeshire. Our purpose is to encourage and enhance opportunities for high quality learning outside the classroom for all children and young people.

Cambridgeshire Outdoors comprises:

Burwell House Study & Conference Centre
Cambridgeshire Environmental Education Service (CEES) including:
Stibbington Centre
Upware Centre
Wisbech Castle
Coldham Wind Farm
Grafham Water Centre
Working in partnership with the Outdoor Education Adviser

To provide a wide RANGE of outdoor learning experiences and choice.
To ensure HIGH QUALITY outdoor learning experiences.
To ensure COST EFFECTIVENESS.
To ensure high standards in SAFETY across the provision.
To make a clear case for the VALUE of learning outside the classroom.
To improve INFORMATION for schools, youth groups and the wider community.
To broaden UNDERSTANDING and provision of Learning Beyond The Classroom through other agencies.
