Our colourful, child-friendly BookBus can visit your school to give pupils the experience of choosing from a wide range of fiction.

The BookBus is staffed by a team whose members are experienced in working with children. They are police-vetted and are able to advise children on their book choices and encourage them to try new authors and genres, as well as providing them with experience in the use of library facilities. Many of our staff are qualified teachers.

Typically the BookBus visits primary schools twice a year based on an agreed schedule.  Whilst the BookBus is at the school, children from each class are able to select books from the bus to refresh their class' fiction loan-stock.
