Academies

Cambridgeshire County Council is committed to working in partnership with all schools, colleges and settings, including Academies, to narrow the attainment gap, improve outcomes for children and their families, and ensure that teaching and learning experiences are of the highest quality.

In order to respond to key topics recently raised with the Council about the conversion of Cambridgeshire schools to Academy status, a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page is now available.

Alongside this information, the Department for Education’s (DfE’s) website contains a detailed section with answers to a range of questions on the Academies programme.
