Headteachers and Governing Bodies are committed to the improvement of their schools.  However, sometimes things can go wrong and parents, carers and others feel the need to complain about issues or incidents related to school.

The leaflet (which is available to download on the right hand side) sets out the procedures that have been agreed and adopted by many Cambridgeshire schools for dealing with complaints.

Schools' persistent complaints and harassment policy

Headteachers and Governing Bodies are committed to the improvement of their schools.

All schools welcome feedback from parents/carers and will always try to resolve any complaints as quickly as possible.

Sometimes, however, parents or carers pursuing complaints or other issues treat staff in a way that is unacceptable. Whilst we recognise that some complaints may relate to serious and distressing incidents, headteachers and governing bodies will not accept threatening or harassing behaviour

The aim of the leaflet, available to download, is to provide information about the County Council’s recommended policy for schools on persistent complaints and harassment of staff.
