From time to time, we shall publish public consultation papers on school planning proposals across the County.  These will be listed on this page with details on how you may access them in order to let us have your views on the proposals we make.

Statutory Notice to increase the Pupil Admission Number at Comberton Village College
Notice is given that Comberton Village College have published a proposal to increase the Pupil Admission Number at Comberton Village College from 01 September 2009.

The Governing Body of Comberton Village College wish to increase the Pupil Admission Number from 257 to 300 for the intake in September 2009.

Formal consultation on provision of primary and secondary school in Northstowe.
The Authority has recently launched a competition process for the provision of the first primary school and secondary school for Northstowe. The full competition documents are available to download on the left hand side.

Closing date for proposals was 23 June 2008

Statutory Notice for the creation of a new Foundation Special School
Notice is given that the Cottenham Foundation Special School Proposers have published a proposal to create a new Foundation Special School in Cambridgeshire, for 50 young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The statutory public notice is available to download on the right hand side.


Formal consultation on provision of primary and secondary school in the Cambridge Southern Fringe
The Authority began a public consultation period in order to seek the views on provision of a primary and secondary school for the Cambridge Southern Fringe, which comprises four areas of development:

  • Clay Farm/Showground on land to the south and east of Trumpington
  • Glebe Farm on land to the south of Trumpington
  • Trumpington Meadows on land adjoining the Trumpington Park and Ride
  • The Bell School site which is to the east of Addenbrooke’s

Closing date for comments on proposals was 8 February 2008
