On 20 January 2012, following a period of consultation, the County Council issued a statutory notice to make a prescribed alteration to Grove Primary School, Campkin Road, Cambridge, CB4 2NB, from 1 September 2012. The proposal was to expand the size of the school by increasing the Published Admission Number from 30 to 60.
The Grove’s buildings were originally designed to accommodate 420 children, but this number of places has not been needed in recent years. Arrangements have been developed to enable the school’s accommodation to be updated and improved to take additional children.
The proposal was approved by Cabinet on 18 April 2012.
