If you're a young person making decisions about work or education, you need up to date information.
Connexions helps young people aged 13-19 find the information they need – and we also work with young people with additional needs up to age 25.
Where can I get up to date information?
· At your local Connexions centre
· In school or college
· On the internet
Connexions centres have information on computer, online and on paper – what’s best depends on what you want! There are information advisers to make sure you get all the information you need. You should be able to find out about any type of work, about courses of all sorts and training opportunities. Parents are welcome.
Most schools and colleges have Connexions information bases with information about careers, education and work and most have internet access as well as computer software to help you.
Connexions website purplepigeon.net has links to hundreds of internet sites which we trust to give good up to date information. On this site we’ve included a list of some of the top sites.
We produce two publications to provide information about post-16 options. What Next explains all of the options that are open after GCSE. Where Next has a table of information about post-16 courses and training opportunities.
