CHANGES FOR 2009 ENTRANTS

If you are planning to start University in 2009 you will need to apply for student funding (maintenance grant, maintenance loan and fee loan support).

Local Authorities will not be responsible for processing student finance applications for 2009 University entrants. Instead your application will be dealt with centrally by the Student Loans Company starting in the Autumn of 2008 under the new brand name of 'Student Finance England' (currently known as Student Finance Direct).
