Recognising young peoples' achievements

Montage showing a young person and a certificate

One of the Youth Work national targets is to enable 30% of participating young people in the 13 to 19 year age range to gain accreditation in the form of a local or nationally recognised certificate of achievement.

We are working to achieve this through a number of ways:

  • The Duke of Edinburgh's Award
  • Youth Achievement Awards
  • Princes Trust Awards
  • Millennium Volunteers Awards
  • Local certificates of achievement, such as babysitting
  • Sports Leaders Awards
  • DJing and mixing
  • County Youth Work Award
